MSPAlliance® recognition highlights company’s focus on transparency, cybersecurity best practices for clients
San Jose, Calif., Feb. 4, 2021 – ZAG Technical Services, Inc., award-winning IT consulting firm, managed services and IT security provider, today announced it has completed the MSPAlliance® MSP Verify Program certification process, highlighting the firm’s dedication to delivering technology as a competitive advantage. As part of the process, ZAG also received the Cyber Verify™ AA Risk Assurance Rating, which brings its clients greater transparency and assurance when it comes to ZAG’s cybersecurity practices.

Both MSP Verify and Cyber Verify are based on the Unified Certification Standard™ (UCS) for Cloud and Managed Service Providers and developed by the International Association of Cloud and Managed Service Providers. The UCS consists of 10 control objectives and underlying controls that constitute crucial building blocks of a successful managed services (and cloud computing) practice. Once ZAG completed all the MSP Verify documentation on all applicable control objectives, the results were examined by an independent third-party accounting firm for verification and delivered as part of a public-facing report.

MSP Cyber Verify Risk Assurance Rating
The Cyber Verify Risk Assurance Rating, part of the MSP Verify audit process, evaluates many different aspects of a company’s service delivery, paying particular attention to security. Cyber Verify assesses internal service delivery practices, business continuity of the provider, cyber insurance usage, and many other characteristics that are important in the evaluation process of customers seeking out professional and secure providers. More specifically, the AA rating evaluates the provider’s cyber security practices at a specific point in time.
