San Jose, Calif., May 16, 2022 — ZAG Technical Services (ZAG), an award-winning IT consulting firm, managed services, and IT security provider, today announced the promotion of Eric Regnier to Manager of IT Security & Compliance (ITS&C), a new practice at ZAG. In this role, Eric will help build secure environments for current and future ZAG clients and ensure these entities are able to meet regulatory requirements.
ZAG’s ITS&C practice views companies through a security lens, helping them meet industry best practices, as well as government-mandated compliance requirements. Additionally, ITS&C elevates an organization’s security posture by aligning technology implementation with the more than 200 standards ZAG has in place to guide businesses in their journey. Through this practice, ZAG delivers actionable insights that enhance a company’s ability to protect assets and revenue.

Eric joined ZAG in 2021 as a Project Manager and quickly became an asset to the organization’s response to emerging cyber threats on behalf of its clients. Eric is a former U.S. Navy submarine officer with a master’s degree in computer science specializing in cybersecurity. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), and Project Management Professional (PMP).
